The Good Food and Wine Show has finally arrived, this is such a wonderful opportunity for all you foodies to get out there and release that inner chef. Have you ever wanted to understand the perfect food and wine match?  What about the culinary skills of some of Australia's leading chef's? Or find some ideas on Australia's best produce..
It kicks off this weekend in Melbourne which has had such a busy week with the restaurant 08 expo and the announcement of Lexus young chef and waiter of the year awards held at the carousel in Albert park. Gordon Ramsey will be attending the Good Food and Wine Show in Sydney.

* Gourmet Garden Cooking School – Four sessions a day run for one hour each and Liz Long from Luscious Affairs will teach and inspire with this interactive cooking school. * Lyndey Milan’s Regional Producers Market – Renowned food writer, TV personality and food influencer will choose the best of regional producers to showcase their fare at her farmers market * Sunbeam Coffee Class – Learn the fundamentals of being a barista with a 45 minute coffee course. Includes Paul Bassett coffee to practice your barista skills at home. * Lindemans Early Harvest Restaurant – For the first time at the Good Food & Wine Show, visitors can enjoy restaurant quality dining with menus created by leading chefs Pete Evans and Ben O’Donoghue. Each dish is matched to a light and refreshing Lindeman’s Early Harvest wine. * Friday Night After Dark – For the first time in show history, a night session will take place on Friday 30th May from 6-9pm, perfect for an after work browse with friends. Visitors to the Friday night session can enjoy all the show’s offerings without the weekend crowds.
Visitors to the 2008 show can enjoy the best of Tasmania’s regional produce, sample sweet delights by Haigh’s Chocolates, taste unique boutique beers and discover a new appreciation of wine at the informative and entertaining Riedel Wine Theater presentations.
The Diners Club Celebrity Theater presented by LifeStyle FOOD Channel will see TheChopping Block’s Matt Moran as well as Tobie Puttock and Ben O’Donoghueshare their tricks of the trade through their live on-stage demonstrations.
